Community Café was held at:  First United Methodist Church, 5201 Belcrest Road, Hyattsville, Maryland.  At St. Christopher's, we have had the privilege of participating in this ministry for over 21 years.  On the fourth Wednesday of the months of January, March, May, July, September and November members of St. Christopher's served lunch to approximately 75 - 100 guests who were in need.  Personal care packages were also donated and distributed by members of St. Christopher's.  This ministry was halted due to the pandemic as we were unable to physically serve meals however, we continue to support this ministry by providing gift cards to local grocery stores for the needy families

 

It is a joy to be able to help others in need and we thank the Lord for His grace and favor in enabling us to continue to serve.
