Mustard Seed - St. Christopher's Outreach Ministries

Volunteers are needed to water our garden plot full of tomatoes. Please sign up to pick your day! (Plots 2 & 3)

Thank you for your generosity in donating beans, rice, and produce to San Mateo. Beans, rice and Masa may be brought to St. Christopher's each week. The next Sunday for bringing fresh produce will be July 5th. Volunteers will be needed to take food to San Mateo that week.

Mark your calendars for the City of New Carrollton's Community Day, September 26th from noon - 6 p.m.  Please help us plan for a strong presence there! Also, plan to help with Back-to-School Backpacks and National Night Out in August; Coat drive in September; Trunk or Treat; Thanksgiving Turkeys in November, and Cops with Chickens in December.

The shade garden near the end of the parking lot is well under way. This garden will beautify our lot, welcome guests, and deter trash. Volunteers are needed weekly to keep it free of trash. If you would like to contribute planters, flowers, or a shrub or small tree, please contact Deacon Melissa! Planting a tree is a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion; we hope to plant in locations where trees will be safe from future construction.

At our recent town hall, helping unhoused people was mentioned as a concern. How might we move forward with this idea? Let the deacon know your ideas!! deacon@stchrispgc.org
